HONOR GUARD The honor guard performs at ceremonial occasions across the County and appearing at other special local events. Honor Guardsmen continue with pride to "Honor Those Who Served". The goal of the honor guard is to serve the fire department and community as a visual reminder of the service and traditions of the fire service. To respect and remember with honor and distinction past, present, and retired fire fighters for their dedication and service to the citizens of Hardin County . A non-discriminating organization comprised of both men and women who are active members of the Hardin County Fire Department. Our role at a funeral is dictated by the family of the deceased and fire service traditions. The Honor Guard represents the Department at funerals of members outside the Department as well. We represent the County and Department at various parades, functions, and ceremonies. |
